Up to Age 95, Male Still Active ML

Age does not seem to be a barrier for a man to have sex. The results showed, elderly man was still excited to have sex, but they are often hampered disease problems and few opportunities to do so.

Research conducted in Australia states, men aged over 75 years are still active in sexual intercourse. Interestingly, 1 out of 10 in this elderly age 90 to 95 years.

The hormone testosterone is clearly related to how often men over 75 years is having sex, and experts should continue to do research if hormone replacement therapy can provide benefits for elderly men.

Zoe Hyde of the University of Western Australia and colleagues involving 2700 men aged 75-95 years in their study. Respondents were interviewed about health, personal relationships, and sexual activity. The results of this research published in the Annals of Internal Medicine.

"Older men are no longer had sexual activity that burns, but sex is still very important for one-fifth of men aged 90-95 years. The results of this study contradicts the stereotype that says that the older the person, the more will no longer have sexual desire."

"For those who are sexual active, more than 40 percent were dissatisfied with the frequency and want sex as much as possible," said the research report.

More than 30 percent of men reported sexual activity in the past year, but more than 48 percent stated that sex is still important. This indicates that they still want nge-sex, but can not do it because of various reasons. Age is one factor, in addition to other causes, such as testosterone levels, a couple who was interested, diabetes, and prostate cancer.
